Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What complaints can I come to you for?
You can come to us with a variety of complaints, such as back pain, neck and shoulder pain, headaches, jaw complaints, pelvic problems, muscle and tendon issues, complaints following an injury or accident, or long-lasting unexplained physical complaints. Digestive issues and tension-related complaints can also have a physical cause and can be treated.
2. Do I need a referral from my general practitioner?
No, you don’t need a referral to make an appointment. Physiotherapy is directly accessible. If there is any doubt about your complaint, we can always consult or refer you further.
3. Is physiotherapy covered by my health insurance?
If you have additional physiotherapy coverage, treatments are often (partially) reimbursed. Please check with your health insurer for the exact terms and conditions. We do not have contracts with health insurers, so you will receive the invoice directly from us.
4. What does a treatment look like?
Each treatment is tailored to your complaints and needs. We use techniques such as mobilizations, muscle stretching techniques, dry needling, manipulations, and exercise therapy. Advice on posture, breathing, and habits can also be part of the treatment.
5. How long does an appointment last?
A first consultation usually lasts 50 minutes. Follow-up treatments typically take around 25 minutes, depending on what is needed.
6. Can I make an appointment online?
Yes, you can easily make an appointment online through our website. You can also call or email if you want to ask a question or discuss something first.
7. Do you also treat chronic conditions?
Yes, we have extensive experience with chronic conditions and unexplained physical complaints. We take the time to identify possible causes and work purposefully towards lasting recovery.
8. What makes your approach different?
We look beyond just the location of the pain. By examining the whole body in connection, we search for the real cause of your complaint. We combine physiotherapy expertise with a broader perspective on health and self-healing.
